The place takes its name from <strong>duc de Biron<\/strong>name from the Duke of Biron, whose son once kept a residence in the area. Dozens of neighbouring streets took the names of French historical figures, adding to the charm of this enclave outside intramural Paris.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aujourd&rsquo;hui, le march\u00e9 Biron fait partie de l&rsquo;ensemble plus large des <strong>Puces de Saint-Ouen<\/strong>, r\u00e9unissant sept march\u00e9s (Biron, Serpette, Paul Bert, Dauphine, Malassis, Vernaison, Jules-Vall\u00e8s) et plus de deux mille marchands.
