Chinese sideboard in red-lacquered elm
There are pieces of furniture that melt into a décor, and others that set the tone for a whole room. This sideboard is one of the latter.
Covered in a magnificent original red lacquer, patinated by time, it has that rare presence that only antique furniture can offer. Its two drawers, two doors and elegant brass medallion speak of the refined sobriety of traditional Chinese furniture.
One imagines it in an entrance, a living room or a dining room, instantly bringing warmth, character and personality. Every flash of lacquer, every nuance of red tells a story and makes this piece absolutely unique.
An authentic, vibrant, timeless piece, able on its own to transform a décor.
Solid elm, original red lacquer and brass fittings.
The beauty of simplicity, elevated by more than a century of patina. Status: Sold
