Chinese elm sideboard with patinated orange lacquer
With its fine proportions, this solid-elm Chinese sideboard immediately draws the eye with its soft orange lacquer, patinated over the decades. Behind its apparent simplicity lies all the charm of Chinese household furniture, designed to cross generations.
Its two drawers and two doors offer generous storage, while its wrought-iron fittings of delicate lines bring a touch of discreet elegance. Marks of wear, far from flaws, tell the life of the piece and give it an authenticity that the finest interiors seek today.
One can imagine it as readily in a majestic entrance, a refined living room or a contemporary dining room where its warm colour will light the space.
A piece full of character, where the patina of time has become a true art of living.
